Let's get started on something amazing.

I'm always excited to collaborate or chat about design ideas. Whether you have a project in mind, want to explore creative possibilities, or just want to share inspiration, feel free to reach out because conversations often spark the best ideas.

For this project, I created a poster titled Synergy for our Graphic and Web Design graduate exhibition. While it functions as a promotional piece for the event, my main intention was to capture and celebrate the collective identity of our cohort.

The concept is centered around the idea of collaboration—how individual perspectives, styles, and strengths come together to form something more dynamic as a whole. I explored this through the typography itself, treating the word “Synergy” not as static text but as a form in motion.

Inspiration

In developing the visual direction, I was heavily inspired by Pinterest boards that featured thermal gradient maps, soft distortions, and ethereal, atmospheric compositions. I was drawn to how these visuals use color and light to create depth and movement, often feeling both digital and organic at the same time. I translated that influence into the poster through the glowing gradient shifting from warm yellows into deep purples, and the flowing forms that ripple outward from the type. These elements helped create an almost otherworldly quality that immediately attracts the eye and invites closer attention. It also represents our closeness as a cohort.

Overall, Synergy is both a promotional piece and a reflection of our shared experience. It represents how our individual creative paths intersect, influence one another, and ultimately come together to create something cohesive, energetic, and visually engaging.

Although there were many sleepless nights, working to always be creative and problem solve, I am very proud and thankful to have been apart of the graphic and web design program at John Abbott college. I’ve met so many different amazing people here, but now i’m looking forward to what will come next.
